Based on a media art work created by the Kyoto University Art Innovation Industry-Academia Joint Division, artist Tosa will present the results of joint research with TOPPAN and Shimadzu Corporation, and propose new value creation through art, the last human stronghold, for future society and industry in a world where AI is in full swing. In a world of AI, we propose the creation of new values through art, the last human stronghold, for future society and industry.

Concept of the exhibits

In the near future, humans will travel to space, a zero-gravity space.
It is said that weightless space is similar to scuba diving. Until we are born, we spend our time in the amniotic fluid (water) of our mothers, which is gender-neutral, listening to our mother’s prenatal care.
A device that simulates being in amniotic fluid in a microgravity experience space composed of “Sound of Ikebana” images created under weightlessness using birth cries and heartbeats provided by many people: Zero Gravity Art.
Visitors to the Expo will experience this device, regain their memories of a time when there was no gender gap, and strive to be equal as human beings.
They will also experience the sensation of a floating fetus, and experience the “birth of life” and the “future of life.
