Weightless space is said to be similar to scuba diving. Until we are born, we spend our time in the amniotic fluid (water) of our mothers, where there is no gender difference, listening to our mother’s prenatal care.
The Zero Gravity Art is a device that simulates being in amniotic fluid in a microgravity experience space composed of images of the “Sound of Ikebana” created under weightlessness based on birth cries and heartbeats provided by people from all over the world. The Zero Gravity Art is a device that simulates being in amniotic fluid in a space where one can experience microgravity. Visitors to the Expo will also experience the sensation of a floating fetus, and experience the “birth of life” and the “future of life.
Zero Gravity Art
Zero Gravity Art was developed as a new art form for the age of weightlessness, expressing “the future of life” by creating “flower arrangement of birth” under microgravity by parabolic flight, which neither NASA nor JAXA have done.
Zero Gravity Art creates an infinite space composed of mirror displays.
Inside the art, the video work “Zero Gravity Sound of Ikebana,” created in a zero-gravity environment, will be projected. Surrounded by floating images and endless space, you can experience a deep immersive feeling similar to the feeling of weightlessness.
This video work is a three-dimensional version of the birth cry, and combined with environmental sounds inspired by pulsations, it expresses the strength of life.
